What is Sweat Testing?

An exercise test which involves training at race-pace for 30-60 minutes in a race-specific temperature with sweat patches placed on your forehead and both forearms.

Why Do You Need Sweat Testing?

This test will determine your sweat rate (fluid loss per hour) and the sodium concentration of that sweat (how much sodium you're losing) in the testing conditions on the day. From these two key metrics, this information can be used to develop a race-day hydration plan to help avoid cramping and dehydration.
